Bionator
A Bionator appliance is used to protrude and support the mandible by utilizing acrylic flanges on the upper and lower lingual tissues. This acrylic can be trimmed in order to allow control of the vertical position of the posterior teeth and the appliance can be trimmed to adjust the bite to your specifications.
Sagittal
The sagittal is a removable acrylic appliance that can be used on either arch for distalizing the posterior segments. Acrylic is added to the occlusal surface of the teeth for additional retention while the molars and bicuspids are anchored against the anterior teeth.
